Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cosmoshot website and the purchase of custom star map posters ("Service"). By placing an order or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by Individual entrepreneur Rebreev Mikhail, registered in Georgia ("we", "us", "Cosmoshot").
- Registered address: Apt 5, Ponichala 3, Isani-Samgori district, Tbilisi, Georgia

2. The Service
Cosmoshot creates a personalized digital poster showing the position of the stars and constellations for a date, time and location you choose. The poster is computed from real astronomical data and delivered to you as a digital file (PDF).
We do not sell or ship physical posters. You receive a print-ready file and may print it yourself, at home or through any print shop, for your own personal use.
3. Orders
To place an order you provide the details required to generate the poster (such as date, time, place and any captions) and a valid e-mail address for delivery. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit. We generate the poster based on the data you provide and are not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect input.
A contract between you and us is formed when your payment is confirmed.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown on the Service before you complete your order and may be stated in a currency selected at checkout. Applicable taxes may be added depending on your location.
Payments are processed by our payment provider Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase. This means that Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited and its affiliates) handles the sale, billing, collection of payment and applicable taxes. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Paddle's buyer terms. We do not receive or store your full card details.
5. Delivery
The poster is delivered electronically. After your payment is confirmed, we generate the file and send it to the e-mail address you provided. Delivery is normally fast, but generation may take some time depending on load. If you have not received your file within a reasonable period, please check your spam folder and contact us.
6. Right of withdrawal and refunds
The poster is a digital product that is personalized to your specifications and produced individually for you. To the extent permitted by applicable law, by placing your order you acknowledge that production begins immediately and you agree to the start of performance; accordingly the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply once the file has been generated and delivered.
This does not affect your rights where the file is defective or does not match your order. If something is wrong with your file — for example it cannot be opened, is corrupted, or does not reflect the data you provided — contact us and we will correct the file or issue a refund as appropriate.
Refunds, where due, are handled through Paddle as Merchant of Record. You can also raise billing and refund requests directly with Paddle.
7. Intellectual property
All elements of the Service — including the website, the poster templates, designs, layouts, fonts and underlying software — belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law.
When you purchase a poster, we grant you a non-exclusive licence to use the resulting file for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, including printing copies for yourself or as a gift. You may not resell the file, redistribute it, or use it commercially without our prior written consent.
8. Your content
For any text you add to a poster (titles, dedications, captions), you confirm that you have the right to use it and that it does not infringe anyone's rights, is not unlawful, offensive or otherwise objectionable. We may decline to produce a poster that contains content we reasonably consider unlawful or inappropriate.
9. Astronomical accuracy
We compute star positions from established astronomical data for the date, time and coordinates you provide. The result is intended as a faithful artistic representation of the sky and not as a scientific or navigational instrument. Minor stylistic choices are made for legibility and design.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order concerned. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the latest update shown above. Changes apply to orders placed after they are published.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence are not affected.
